Target Audience


This activity is intended for Family Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and other Allied Health Professionals interested in the treatment of asthma.

Learning Objectives


1. Discuss the definition of asthma control as defined by the NAEPP asthma guidelines.
2. Identify cases of severe asthma and indicate management steps as directed by the NAEPP asthma guidelines.
3. Indicate best methods to monitor asthma control and adjust treatment.
